This blog/website was setup by a 17 year old high school student looking for a way to express new bands he or others have found through live shows or the Internet.? He created ModRoc as a one-stop place for information on not so well known bands.? Mike Splain, the creator, looks to major in the Music Business program in college next year.
ModRoc came about when there was a dispute over the grouping of the music this site would cover.? This site was designed to cover Modern Rock, aka Alt, Indie, and just plain Rock.
